Dear members of the AVU branch, 

This is to invite people working at DNEG to a zoom meeting TONIGHT at 6:30pm, with Bectu officials Paul Evans and Spencer Macdonald. To register for this meeting please check your email containing a link with an invitation to register.

On Friday last week Paul and Spencer met with union members working at DNEG to discuss a collective response to the contractual changes proposed by DNEG management. Meeting attendees voted in favour of a collective grievance and over the weekend the grievance letter was circulated online. Since launching the letter, the number of signatures has been growing rapidly, but the deadline of noon tomorrow is approaching and we want as many of your colleagues to sign it as possible.

Tonight’s meeting is to discuss the next steps in the process, and to encourage people to add their signatures to the letter ahead of the tight deadline.
